With a record-breaking 20,000+ bets-per-minute placed in the run up to this year’s Grand National, the event proved to get a great day out for Entain and our customers, who got in on the action both in shops and online. 12.75 million bets were taken in total by our brands over the three-day Grand National period.

Following a rebound in retail betting shops and an expansion of our US joint venture with MGM Resorts, Entain experienced a hike in first-quarter revenues this year. Total net gaming revenue jumped 31% for the three months to 31 March and BetMGM added four new markets, for a total of 23 at the end of the period.

In line with our commitment to support our communities and encourage people to come together and play a part, the Entain Foundation has launched the Pitching In Volunteer Hub. The hub is an online portal seeking to attract volunteers to help fill vacancies at all 248 clubs playing in the Isthmian, Northern Premier and Southern Leagues, which together make up the Trident Leagues.
