Entain was named Socially Responsible Operator of the Year at the inaugural SBC Awards North America and, for the third time in four years, EGR Operator of the Year. Entain’s Foxy Bingo also took home EGR’s Bingo Operator of the Year title, with judges recognising Foxy Bingo as the “the most innovative” Bingo brand of the last year.

American multinational business magazine Fortune speaks to Jette Nygaard-Andersen and BetMGM CEO, Adam Greenblatt, about their plans to capitalize on the huge US market opportunity. The market could reach $32 billion in annual revenues by the end of the decade, with BetMGM hoping to capture at least a fifth of that. Entain’s in-house technology platform, which offers unparalleled flexibility, is cited as a key reason for success in a country with 50 individual state markets, each with different rules.
MailOnline, the UK’s most-read online newspaper brand, reports on BetMGM’s success in reaching an almost one-third share US in internet gaming, making it the US industry leader. BetMGM made a successful start to the NFL season following an advertising campaign fronted by Oscar winner Jamie Foxx, and even managed to receive the first ever sports wager from space when billionaire Jared Isaacman put money on the Superbowl whilst on Inspiration4, the first all-private orbital mission around Earth.
Adam Greenblatt, CEO of BetMGM, speaks to The Times about the company’s exciting US growth plans. BetMGM enjoyed its best ever month of revenue in October and, if current success continues, analysts expect that it may have to upgrade its forecast of $1 billion in net revenue for next year. Entain is “carefully, deliberately, aggressively pursuing the market opportunity”, says Adam. “We haven’t scratched the surface,” he adds.
German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) speaks to Jette Nygaard-Andersen, who calls for a stronger enforcement of gambling rules in Germany, following the country’s recent
liberalisation of online gambling. Supplementary rules designed to protect players have been implemented by Entain, but not every operator has followed suit. "We have implemented the requirements of the State Gambling Treaty. Now we want to see that the rules are also enforced," Jette tells the paper
Gambling Insider reports on Entain’s bwin brand signing a landmark partnership with UEFA to become an official partner of the UEFA Europa League and the newly formed UEFA Europa Conference League for the next three seasons.
Insider Sport reports on the renewal of Entain’s partnership with charity SportsAid, maintaining its support for British Olympic and Paralympic athletes. The partnership extension will see Entain double its financial backing of SportsAid to £500,000 in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
